CANCELLATION POLICY

Guest Refund Policy: Flexible Cancellation Policy (48 hours)
> 48 hours before the reservation time — Full Refund of Menu Cost
If a guest cancels more than 48 hours prior to the scheduled reservation slot time (or 3:00 PM if not specified), they will receive a full refund of the Menu price.
Please note: the DineAtMine service fee is non-refundable and will be retained to cover transaction processing costs.
< 48 hours before the reservation time — No Refund
Cancellations made within 48 hours of the reservation are non-refundable and the guest will not receive any refund of Menu fees or service fees.

Guest Refund Policy: Strict Cancellation Policy (7 days)
> 7 days before the reservation time — Full Refund of Menu Cost
For a full refund of the Menu cost, cancellation must be made at least 7 full days prior to the reservation time (or 2:00 PM if not specified).
For example: If your reservation is on Friday, you must cancel on or before the previous Friday, before the designated Menu time.
The DineAtMine service fee remains non-refundable.
< 7 days before the reservation time — No Refund
If the guest cancels less than 7 full days in advance, no refund will be issued for either the Menu cost or the service fee.

General Cancellation Rules
• A reservation is officially cancelled only after the guest clicks the “X” cancellation icon next to the meal in “My Reservations”, followed by the “Cancel” button.
• Cancellation terms may be superseded by the Guest Refund Policy, extenuating circumstances, or cancellations initiated by DineAtMine, as outlined in our Terms of Service.
• Any complaints from either party must be reported to DineAtMine within 24 hours after the reserved mealtime.
• Where necessary, DineAtMine will mediate disputes and retains the final decision in all matters.
• All service fees and applicable taxes are non-refundable and will be retained and remitted as required.
Chef Payout & Cancellation Policy: Flexible Cancellation Policy (48 hours)
> 48 hours before reservation — Payout protected
If a guest cancels more than 48 hours prior to the scheduled reservation time, the chef will still receive their full payout of the Menu cost, in line with the Flexible policy.
DineAtMine will release the payout as usual within 5–10 business days.
The DineAtMine service fee is retained to cover merchant transaction charges.
< 48 hours before reservation — Payout protected
If a guest cancels less than 48 hours before the reservation time, the chef is still entitled to receive the full payout of the Menu cost, even though the guest is not refunded.
The service fee remains non-refundable to the guest and is retained by DineAtMine.

Chef Payout & Cancellation Policy: Strict Cancellation Policy (7 days)
> 7 days before reservation — Payout protected
If a guest cancels more than 7 days prior to the scheduled reservation, the chef will still receive their full Menu payout, which will be released as originally scheduled (within 5–10 business days).
Service fees are retained by DineAtMine to cover processing costs.
< 7 days before reservation — Payout protected
If a guest cancels within 7 days of the reservation, the booking is considered a late cancellation.
The chef will still be paid out in full for the Menu, and the guest will not receive a refund.
DineAtMine will retain the service fee in line with the Terms of Service.

General Rules
• The booking slot will automatically reopen to accept new reservations once a cancellation is processed.
• Chefs are encouraged to keep their availability up to date to avoid cancellations.
• In case of a complaint, both the guest and chef must notify DineAtMine within 24 hours of the reservation time.
• DineAtMine mediation decisions are final in the event of any dispute.
• Payouts may be temporarily put on hold during dispute resolution, but will be released as soon as the matter is cleared.
